With sun dappled grassy hills, wind whispering through the trees and clear water flowing beside us it's hard to believe that we are actually only a stones throw away from Kings Cross Station. The tiny room that we set up in had a bizarre arrangement of high visibility safety jackets and diagrams of pine cones contrasted with Alexander McQueen 3 Piece suits and thigh high Christian Louboutins. The room was covered in elaborate jewellery, rich textures and of course, plastic waders.  We had definitely brought a little bit of luxury to the countryside.

As the sun rose higher in the sky, the models were made to look even more beautiful by the talented make up team and Guy, our editor and head stylist, meticulously planned each look for the day ahead. After we had got the first model ready, they were lead into the wilderness. The slightly magical location included a sun drenched meadow full of wildflowers, a secluded lake and a hilltop that the models adopted as a place to relax between shots, it was very difficult not to join them!

Terry Hall and his video team created some beautiful shots within the wooded surroundings using shadowed light, we especially love the playful rabbit ears using Balenciaga mittens.

After a day full of models wading around in a lake, dodging sudden heavy rain showers, sun bathing on the hill, separating the safety jackets from the Balenciaga and wondering who had eaten all of the Jaffa Cakes we packed away all of the amazing clothes and left the tiny piece of countryside in the city.
